These next four candidates all fit inti my target demographic and would be who I hope would enjoy my music video and engage with my website and other online features of the artists.

About: He goes to Southend high school for girls and is an a level media student meaning he is media literate and will be able to pick up on different techniques like the use of mise-en-scene and representations of marginalised groups.
Favourite artist: Lana Del Rey because she’s an icon and her music is therapeutic and moody. although carter isn't really the target demographic for her music he still enjoys it despite the lack of relatability as the actual sound of the music is just as important as the meaning of the lyrics in order to create a successful song.

About: she also attends Southend high school for girls and has been studying media for the past ongoing three years and will go ahead to achieve a media a level qualification as well. She specialises in designing animations and sketches for adverts and/or promotions in her work and often produces very creative and professional looking media products. Therefore she fits the demographic as her ABC1 class and reformer psychometric means she would enjoy music produced by the beggars group.
Favourite artist: Harry styles as she likes his eccentric and feminine look which goes against generic male stereotypes and his music has grown and branched into different genres over the years.

Class: middle
About: she is also a student at shsg and takes music and media a level. This means she will be aware of how to make representations through lyrics and sound in music as well as breaking down and analysing the creation of meaning and representations in the music videos paired with the song. She will be media literate through this education and even social life and online presence to aid her in her interests.
Favourite artist: frank ocean since he is quite an individual person with his music and enjoys having a smaller management if not just himself managing his music.

About: she’s another shsg student who’s studying media studies and design & technology meaning she will have more knowledge of codes of costume and different representations through set design and the actual appearance of the artists.
Favourite artist: a tie between arctic monkeys and oasis. Arctic monkeys are good because their lead singer is younger and has more appeal to a younger audience yet they’re still indie even though they carry a lot of the popularity in the industry. Oasis are more retro and have been introduced to her by her dad to have more in common however they have been a more progressive band and have an ongoing audience throughout multiple generations.
